リスのリッキー、ウサギのウーちゃん、クマのクーちゃんは、天気と仲良しです。
リッキーの「葉っぱの屋根工房」しっぽでくるっと回転しながら大きなクヌギの葉を集めて、木の枝にひとつずつ器用に重ねていきます。「この巣は、雨が降っても絶対に中に入ってこないんだ。だって、ボクが100回テストしてるからね！」 風が吹くと、屋根の葉がふわりと揺れ、ほんのり木の香りが漂います。
ウーちゃんの「地中ホテルぴょんぴょん館」前足をカッカッと地面に当てると、スコップのように土を掘り始めた。「巣穴って、冬はぬくぬく、夏はすずすず。入り口には葉っぱのひさしもあるよ〜」中に入ると、ほんのり土のにおい。「ここの自慢は、雨の日も全然ぬれないこと！地中の空気って意外といいのよ」
クーちゃんの「ごろり岩かげラウンジ」涼しげな顔で大きな岩のかげにどっしり腰を下ろします。「ここはね、朝は日よけ、雨の日は絶好の休憩所。しかも、ひんやりしてて気持ちいい！」 岩に背中を預けると、葉の影がやわらかく差し込み、クーちゃんの鼻がひくひく動きます。
今日6月11日は、傘の日。森の自然がつくる最高の傘を知り、楽しい一日を過ごしました。
Hello from Nature's Roof! Forest Umbrella Living
Ricky the squirrel, U-chan the rabbit, and Kuu-chan the bear are good friends with the weather.
Ricky’s “Leaf Roof Workshop” Ricky spins his fluffy tail and gathers big oak leaves. “One by one, I stack them on the branch,” he says proudly. “This roof keeps all the rain out! I tested it 100 times!” When the wind blows, the leaves sway softly. The air smells gently of trees and forest.
U-chan’s “Bunny Burrow Hotel” U-chan taps the ground with her front paws—dig dig dig! “A burrow is cozy in winter and cool in summer! And I even made a leafy awning!” Inside, it smells like fresh earth. “Even on rainy days, we stay nice and dry. Underground air feels really nice!”
Kuu-chan’s “Rock Shade Lounge” Kuu-chan sits under a big rock with a relaxed smile. “This is my favorite resting spot—cool in the sun and dry when it rains!” As he leans back, the leaves above let in gentle shadows. His nose wiggles in delight.
Today is June 11th—Umbrella Day! The animals enjoyed learning about the best umbrellas made by nature. It was a lovely, cozy day in the forest.
