リスのリッキー、ウサギのウーちゃん、クマのクーちゃんは、ピンチョスに挑戦します。
リッキーの「森の知恵・ほくほくドングリタワー」。香ばしい特製どんぐりクラッカーの上に、ベリーソースとクリームチーズを間に挟みながら、茹でたてのドングリ、蒸しクルミを積み上げていきます。「渋いドングリも、手間をかければ、こんなにほくほく甘くなるんだ」
ウーちゃんの「花畑のフレッシュ・ガーデン」。ニンジンのトーストを土台にして、ミニニンジン、チェリートマト、キュウリ、ラディッシュを積み重ねていきます。間には、豆腐で作ったクリームチーズを“すっ”と塗り、食用花をひらりと挟みます。「月のウサギが作った秘密の花園なの」
クーちゃんの「ハチミツたっぷり、エネルギー・マウンテン」。ふわふわホットケーキの上に、ベリー、バナナ、マシュマロを積み上げて、間にクリームと砕いたナッツを挟みます。最後にハチミツをとろ〜りとかけます。「冬眠明けはね、これくらい甘くないと元気でないぞ」
今日3月28日は、Something On A Stick Day（串の日）。こだわりのピンチョスで、森には笑いと甘い香りが広がりました。
Forest Favorites: The Pinchos Tower
Ricky the squirrel, Woo the rabbit, and Kuu the bear are trying something new—pinchos on a stick!
Ricky’s creation is called “Forest Wisdom: Warm Acorn Tower.” On a crispy acorn cracker base, he stacks boiled acorns and steamed walnuts, with berry sauce and cream cheese in between. “Even bitter acorns,” Ricky says, “can turn sweet and soft if you take the time.”
Woo’s pinchos is called “Fresh Garden from the Flower Field.” She uses a carrot toast base, then stacks mini carrots, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and radish slices. Between them, she spreads tofu cream cheese and gently adds edible flowers. “This is a secret garden made by the moon rabbit,” she smiles.
Kuu’s pinchos is called “Honey-Powered Energy Mountain.” He stacks berries, banana slices, and marshmallows on a fluffy pancake. Between the layers, he adds cream and crushed nuts. At the end, he pours honey all over. “After waking from hibernation,” Kuu says, “I need something this sweet to feel strong!”
